Welcome to House Pueo in Niseko (Hokkaido, Japan)
House Pueo is a small comfortable pension, located in the center of all Niseko United ski areas, in a quiet area outside the hotel villages. It is easily accessible by car, only 5 to 15 minutes from the ski lifts (Higashiyama, Niseko-Village, Hirafu and Annupuri).
After a day on the ski trails, you can enjoy the benefits of the many onsens (natural hot-spring bath) that surround the pension (more than 10 onsens are located within a 10km radius). Then, you can either cook at the pension or go out for dinner at one of the restaurants located close to the ski lifts or in the neighbor towns (Niseko, Kutchan, Makkari).
The owners/managers are Japanese and French, and speak English, Japanese and French. They will be happy to help you before or during your stay with your local reservations.
'pueo' is the native Hawaiian owl. As we lived in Hawai'i before coming to Niseko, we happened to watch this mysterious bird at night on the slopes of Haleakalā. Here, if we are lucky, we might also see a 'fukurou'...
January 10: already 10m since the beginning of December!
